Saría Cristina, 14, helps run the COPINH community radio. "I like working here, talking about the rights of indigenous people, about our Lenca identity and culture, talking about the need to be organised to achieve our rights. I like talking about issues that affect young people and women and I think it's important to talk about the systems that keep us poor and how to confront them, how we can confront the racist, neo-liberal, patriarchal and capitalist systems that are ruining the country, these are the systems that assassinated our companions Berta Cáceres, and Tomás and Nelson. That's why we're here raising our voices on Radio Guarajambala in COPINH".
