Checkpoint 300 is located approximately 2 km inside the green line. Between 4,000 to 6,000 workers cross this checkpoint daily before 7am to reach their workplaces in Israel.

Palestinians in the West Bank must hold an Israeli permit to cross the checkpoint. They are not allowed free movement into Israel.

Many of the workers are labourers in the construction of illegal Israeli settlements.
