'Fairtrade has given us stability. And, now with organic bananas, that I've been producing for a year now, the prices are stable and better.

The Fairtrade premium is really useful, we use it on a lot of things, we use it to pay for soil analysis and organic fertilizer, insurance for the workers here and medical assistance, the school bonus for kids in the area, the Christmas hampers, for digging drainage channels, you don't see any of that in other places.'
