Lutheran delegate Wylie Cook speaks during a meeting of Faith Based Organisations during the UN climate negotiations COP24 in Katowice, Poland. After the meeting Wylie wrote "Today at a interfaith session, in a minute of pure inspiration, an older Muslim man looked over to the young people and invited us to speak. This is what inter-generational justice looks like: a mutual invitation. Our policies and negotiations must be inter-generational in nature. When youth speak truth to power, they honor their ancestors and their elders. When elders invite the voice of youth and listen to them, they honor their youth."
